The members are appointed by the Minister responsible for Vocational Training. Chairperson of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director of the Authority are appointed by the President of Zanzibar and Chairman of Revolutionary Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The main functions of the Board of Directors of the Authority are:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">a. To provide general directions relating to the operation and sustainability of the vocational training;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">b. To supervise and assist the Authority and advice the Minister responsible for Vocational Training on the implementation of the Vocational Education and Training Policy<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">c. To supervise revenues and expenditures of the Authority<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">d.
